While you were away...

Hey there Sweetheart,

I hope you're all relaxed up from whatever you've been doing on your vacation inside a vacation. Living the life, huh? I miss hearing your blogger voice. And your real voice as a matter of fact. It's going to be funny seeing you again.

While you've been MIA online and I guess in the country as well, I've been up to several different things.

Angela and Laura accompanied me on a shopping adventure on which I spent no money other than buying a Bubble Tea and some headbands. Then we went back to Angela's and hung out there. I bet you miss bubble tea. I doubt you get them in France. I thought of you when I bought it. Laura Howe is nowhere near as submerged into Asian culture as everyone else I know. Myself, I've kind of become accustom to the Asian traditions, food, and lifestyle, etc. And then with all the Hispanic stuff I see with you and places I vacation , I practically understand your language! I dare you to draw a Canadian maple leaf on your face and go a whole day wearing it and just see how many strange looks you get.

I've also been getting new glasses and attempted to get a uniform for school. Let me explain the "attempted" part. The hours were between 3-9pm So I go there at 7. I saw Ansen waiting outside and yelled at him, he made a face and then put his head phones back in. Then I went inside and saw Cecilia, Nathan, Ernest, Argus, Brad, Ivan and a few others sitting in a circle close by a table. They then explained to me that they had all been there since 4 and have been waiting 3 hours. Since I am impatient, I decided not to wait. Reanna came up to me and told me all my sizes, so I wrote them down and left. (She's such a doll) Now I plan to either find a store or order online later. Oh, you're probably going to need to know it seeing as I doubt your mother went today. (halperns.ca) Oh, and my dad semi-yelled at the lady in charge so we left and go ice cream. Because that's how we roll.

I've been promising Colton lunch all week now so I finally went out with him and we went down to this cute little bagel shop on Main street. I don't think I've ever taken you, therefore you must go. Then we went to Redbulb. Aww, I have missed that place. They're quite fancy now, it's nice to see. And of course I return and there are two random guys just sitting in my backyard. It was interesting. And it makes me question our home security.

The Sr.High Summer Bash also known as volley ball, ultimate frisbee, Cheetos throwing madness, and a giant screen having 'Tangeled' projected in Graham's back yard was a lot of fun. Not too many people, but it was good. It was just a back yard party. Very chill, but very fun too. On the way back we had 6 people needing to be drove home in a car with 5 seats. So I kind of just sat in between 2 and ducked whenever another car came by.

I was over at Meaghan's before the event, then she stayed and slept over at my place after the movie. She also came and helped out with the car wash. Yes, we had a car wash. It was so beautiful. It was from 8:30-2:00pm. I stayed the whole time and indeed, washed cars the whole time. Again, it's really cool to just see the generosity some people have when they find out what it is we're raising money for. I mean, we charged $10 per car. And there was one person who gave us $50. And then another who gave us $100. It was sweet to see. Overall, we raised a little over $930. But we're still about $4,000 away from what we needed. It was a lot of fun. And in the end, we just dumped all the nasty buckets on Alex. Fun times really. We had a line up of cars! It was just a constant flow. No breaks! Oh, and of course we had people holding signs by the end of the road and people in a Giant Panda suit that danced around and got cars to come. I think Adam was in the costume for like 2 hours. You remember Adam, right? (GAP) But yeah. It was so awesome too because so many people who aren't even going on the trip came out and helped us out, which was so sweet. Laura Howe was there, so was Zach and meg, and a bunch of others who you probably wouldn't know. After the car wash we went over to Jeniffer's pool and swan and sun tanned for a few hours. Then it was back home for a chill night in.

I guess I'll end this post here and write more later. Willow Springs Week 4 is coming up in a week. I'm really nervous and excited. I'll try to write out a lot everyday about what we do. Because I think I'll be coming home at night, so I'll be okay to blog.

I miss you! Hope you're having fun.

And oh boy will you enjoy having all these random blog posts to read by the next time you get hold of the internet.
